My Husband Jon
always dreamed of having an Aussie but with raising 6 children we
seemed to always have collies or shelties which we do not have any
disappointments at all for choosing the Collies. Laddie, our first
grew up with all 6 children but was closest to our youngest son
Scott who was just about a year old when Laddie came into our home.
He passed away after 12 years with us. We were all heart broken
has I held his head in my arms as he shut his eyes and took his last
breath. Our adopted Sheltie, Barney, was 5 years old when he found
us. He was Jon's therapy during 3 back surgeries and 2 1/2 years of
not working. The best Sheltie we have ever seen with children and
people. The kids in the neighborhood just loved him. Jon would
take him for his daily walks (at least 5-6) times a day and the
children would run out of their houses and hug and kiss the little
guy. The parents just loved him too. He was just a perfect
gentlemen and was welcome in anyone's home.. After 11 years he had
a stroke and we had to put him to sleep. We were
devastated.............to say the least. We had him cremated and
his remains are in a beautiful urn that sit on our entertainment
center in our living room. We don't speak of him often, but we
both know that we have our moments when we looked at the urn we have
our own silent memories of our Loving Barney that will be in our
hearts forever. It only took about 3 weeks of loneliness in the
household before we both admitted we needed to fill the void that
Barney occupied and kept us sane. Finally, we had the
opportunity to get an Australian Shepherd. With no knowledge of he
breed other than what Jon knew by association from his friend who
had an Aussie we found one from an ad in the paper. We found what
became our foundation Aussie and the Love of our Lives, "Char".
A working Aussie that does not work. He was a cute little bundle
of fur that slept in my lap on the 2 hour drive home from Utah to
Nevada. I was going to be very perfect in setting the rules and
sticking to them and put Char in our bathroom the first night with
his own bed, toys and water. He was so fussy that within an hour he
was in bed with us curled up at the top of my pillow and went right
to sleep. 5 years and 60 pounds later, he is still there. All
Jon did was chuckle and he still chuckles except when he tries to
fight for each an every inch of space on the bed which Char is
unwilling to surrender. After learning more about the breed we
decided Char needed a pal while we were working. I searched from
coast to coast and found a promising litter not to far from where we
lived but in Utah. I received an email late one night that a litter
had been born a couple of hours earlier. This started my quest on
Show Aussies and a very close friendship with a very special person
whom you will have the pleasure of being able to view her web site
through this one. We have been able to introduce new blood lines
into the breed which have produced some exciting and beautiful
litters. We both agree and maintain the highest of integrity of the
Aussie breed and want to maintain it throughout our reputation and
breeding insuring that every home and breeder received the highest
of quality of Pet or Show Aussie.
I personally have
learned so much about Aussies and researching pedigrees and when I
think I'm getting close to having an abundance of knowledge about
these special dogs I get introduced to someone else and I learn even
more. So don't ever think that you know it all, there is always
something unique and more that is out there that can increase your
horizons. Which is a wonderful feeling. I have discovered that
most of the people out their who love their dogs are just down to
earth people and there are quite a few judges and breeders that are
very willing to help you with guidance and answers. You may run
into a few snobs but they are few and far between, you can usually
tell by the bend in their noses from someone turning a corner too
fast!!!!!! Ha. Ha. I am happy to say, I have been fortunate
enough to have met wonderful Aussie Lovers like my husband and I.
We now have 4 adults and 5 11 week old puppy's and look forward to
breeding the best of the best. We will be looking for outstanding
pedigrees for breeding and wonderful homes for our pups. As our
kennel grows we will be meeting more beautiful Aussies and their
owners or if it is anything like our house they own us. And by the
way, they have us very well trained. My husband calls they the
Tongue Monsters. And if you ever breed Aussies, It is similar to
what Forrest Gump use to say his mother taught him about a box of
chocolates, "You never know what your gonna get". Our Special
Friend which we also co-own with decided to take the "M" out of
"We". Hoping this might become contagious not only in the
integrity of the breeding of Australian Shepherds, but also to help
bring back the integrity of the American People and the American Way
of Life.
The following links
to your left will give you Shakka's litter with pictures. Also,
The Boy's link will give you our Pride and Joy "Tommi" who we have

Holbrook's Champion. He will be shown hopefully this coming
September. He walked away with everything at 8 weeks old. His
ribbons will be shown in pictures along with his 8 week old pictures
and his now 2 year old pictures. Most pictures now are not posed
but are the kick back life style they have with us.
We hope you enjoy
our Loving Family Album and the Links that are attached that will be
helpful in giving you our children's pedigree along with Linda's
